Kane Brown’s On Broadway To Open Memorial Day Weekend
/by Lorie HollabaughKane Brown.
Kane Brown has partnered with hospitality company Elia Group to open a new bar, restaurant and live music venue, Kane Brown’s On Broadway.
Located in Nashville’s Lower Broadway district at 312 Broadway, the new venue will open at 10 a.m. CT on May 22 and feature surprise appearances from Brown throughout the weekend. The new 11,400 foot venue features four levels with a main floor, anchored by a full-scale stage framed by exposed brick and steel-and-glass elements.
A mezzanine level overlooks the stage, with bar service and seating,. The third floor features rich walnut paneling, Platinum records and curated artwork. The rooftop crowns the venue with views of the Nashville skyline.
“Opening Kane Brown’s on Broadway is about creating somewhere everyone can come together, celebrate and just have a great night out in Nashville,” says Brown. “I wanted it to reflect my journey in Nashville and feel a little different from what you usually find on Broadway. It’s the kind of place where you might run into familiar faces and make memories along the way, whether it’s your first time in town or your hundredth night out. I’ll be stopping by throughout the opening weekend for a few surprise visits and can’t wait to celebrate together with friends and family.”
In recognition of Memorial Day weekend, Kane Brown’s On Broadway will partner with Folds of Honor, a non-profit that provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 73,000 scholarships totaling over $340 million across all 50 states.
“We’re honored to partner with Kane and the Elia team for the grand opening of their exciting new venture in downtown Nashville,” says Jenner Kreifels, Director of Impact, Folds of Honor Tennessee Chapter. “Our growth in the community is rooted in the entertainment industry, and we’re incredibly grateful for artists like Kane who embrace the Folds of Honor mission of education and help support so many deserving military and first responder families.”
“We’re proud to support Folds of Honor during opening weekend and give back to military families nationwide this Memorial Day, extending the celebration beyond entertainment to help advance their mission,” says founder and CEO of Elia Group, Zaid Elia. “Launching Kane Brown’s On Broadway is an exceptional milestone for our Elia team, and it’s been a privilege partnering with Kane, who brings both artistry and authenticity to everything he does. Our shared vision has been to create a welcoming space that delivers an unforgettable, celebrity-level experience while offering something distinctly unique from the traditional Broadway model.”
Brad Paisley Unveils New Project ‘Tacklebox,’ Slates Fall Tour Dates
/by Lauryn SinkBrad Paisley has unveiled his ongoing project titled Tacklebox. The first track, “Fallin’,” is available now.
“I see this ‘project’ as never-ending. It’s almost like the fans have a direct link to my Dropbox or to a playlist that never ends,” shares Paisley. “We are calling it Tacklebox because it’s a box full of hooks, country lyric hooks. In this digital age, I have every song I’ve ever written at my fingertips. This project gave us a license to dig back into the catalog of songs that were never released, that feel like a time period, a style of writing, a sound, and nostalgia. We went back into the studio to record or re-record at The Castle in Franklin, TN, the same place where several of my first few albums were recorded. When I first started writing and recording music, I couldn’t have dreamed of the ability to put something out instantly for the fans.”
Additional songs from the project are slated to be released this week.
Paisley has also added new dates to his fall tour schedule, with shows in Connecticut, Florida, Virginia, Texas and more. Jake Worthington will join for select dates and ticket information can be found here.
Paisley is set to appear tonight on American Idol, joining contestant Lucas Leon for a performance of “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” during the live finale.

/by Lauryn SinkPhoto: Courtesy of Museum of Christian & Gospel Music
The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music will host a special pop-op exhibit, celebrating the release of Amy Grant’s new album, The Me That Remains.
The project marks Grant’s first collection of all-original songs in 13 years, and reflects on healing, connection, endurance and grace.
The exhibit will showcase Wayne Brezinka’s original mixed-media artwork created for the cover of the album. Reflecting themes of memory and reconstruction, the piece was assembled from meaningful fragments of Grant’s life, including pieces of a treasured quilt, seashells from her collection, her childhood Bible, and an article about her grandfather.
The exhibit will also feature Grant’s 1994 Pax Christi Award, accompanied by congratulatory letters from six U.S. presidents, the original Western Union telegram sent to her college dorm announcing her first Grammy nomination, rare photographs captured by Mark Pleasant and more.
Across her career, Grant has garnered more than 2.2 billion global streams, sold over 30 million albums worldwide, and became the first artist in Contemporary Christian Music to achieve a platinum record, reach No. 1 on the pop charts, and perform at the Grammy Awards.
The Amy Grant Pop-Up Exhibit will be included with museum admission.
Vince Gill Drops Soulful New EP ‘Nobody Held Her Like Me’
/by Lorie HollabaughVince Gill embraces his love for the blues on his latest EP, Nobody Held Her Like Me, the seventh volume in his monthly 50 Years From Home EP series.
“I love soul music,” Gill explains. “I’ve loved the soulful side of music forever, whether it’s Ray Charles or Bruno Mars. George Jones was as soulful a singer as anybody who ever lived. I heard a lot of blues music from my big brother. I would hear Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, people like that. To me, in some ways, it’s all blues. I’m just drawn to it.”
Nobody Held Her Like Me kicks off with a melodic title track in the vein of the Eagles’ “I Can’t Tell You Why,” which Gill co-wrote with Joe Glaser and Jimmy Nalls. It’s another love song in his vast repertoire.
“Joe is the guy in Nashville who fixes everyone’s guitars. He asked me if he could bring Jimmy, a ‘great guitarist,’ over to the house,” recalls Gill. “He mentioned that Jimmy was struggling with Parkinson’s. The three of us spent the day together and talked about what Jimmy missed about being a musician. It inspired a guitar lick that I came up with. Eventually Jimmy passed away and I wanted to give both Jimmy and Joe credit for the lick they’d inspired that day.”
Gill penned the laid-back broken-heart track “Back When My World Was Blue” with Ernest and Chandler Walters. “Goin’ To Tampa” takes it to the honky-tonk with the help of co-writers “Big Al” Anderson and McKinley James. Anderson plays acoustic guitar on the track, which features a hot piano ride by John Jarvis. Tearjerker “I Cried All the Way to Memphis,” a first-time collaboration with Patrick Droney, features backing vocals from Maggie Rose.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, “Mama’s Gone to Heaven” cranks up the tempo in a hand-clapping direction marked by piano by Gordon Mote and a stinging guitar solo by Gill. The song was inspired by a conversation with John Parks, who works in the clubhouse at Gill’s regular golf course. “I’m On To You” brings things back to mellow and more heartbreak as Gill heads back into that lane with co-writer Harper O’Neill. It also features America’s Got Talent finalist Lamont Landers, a blue-eyed soul singer from Alabama Gill discovered from online performance posts.
Gill caps Nobody Held Her Like Me with one of his previous hits, “Whenever You Come Around,” which hit No. 2 on the Billboard Country charts as the first single from his When Love Finds You album in 1994. The cover art for Nobody Held Her Like Me features two Fender Stratocasters owned by Gill: one is a 1959 Gill bought from the son of Duane Eddy, who originally purchased the guitar, and the other is refinished 1965 model he bought for $200 and a pair of boots from his late best friend and longtime guitar tech, Benny Garcia.
Commemorating his departure from his native Oklahoma to begin his music career, Gill has been releasing a new EP each month, drawing from songs he has accumulated during the past few years, with each collection built around a unifying theme. During this time he continues to play with the Eagles, including a run of stadium shows as part of its “The Long Goodbye, Act III Tour,” as well as solo dates that resume in June and run through August.

Jessie Jo Dillon has been crowned this year’s ACM Songwriter of the Year, becoming the first to win the award three times, as well as the first to do so in three consecutive years. She also remains one of only three women to ever win.
Frequent collaborator Megan Moroney called Dillon while Dillon was in a recording session at RCA Studio A with Carter Faith via FaceTime to deliver the news, “We have to celebrate because for the third year in a row, you are the ACM Songwriter of the Year!”
“I’m beside myself to have won this coveted award once, let alone three times,” shares Dillon. “I’m honored to be recognized by this community that I love so dearly. Thank you all, especially my publishers, and long live country music!”
The award adds to a momentous year for Dillon, where she has already been recognized at the 2026 CMA Triple Play Awards for penning three No. 1 songs in a calendar year (“Lies, Lies, Lies,” “Happen To Me,” “Am I Okay?). “Am I Okay?” is also up for an ACM this year for Song of the Year, while “Happen To Me” is nominated for Best Country Song at the American Music Awards. Dillon also co-wrote “Lighter” by Carin León and Jelly Roll, which will serve as the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Dillon is a three time GRAMMY nominee for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical (2024–2026), and a four time GRAMMY nominee for Best Country Song. Her recent hits include “Beautiful Things” and “Medicine” by Moroney, “Wish You Well” by Vincent Mason, “Baggage” by Kelsea Ballerini, and “Friday Night Heartbreaker” by Jon Pardi.
