Molly Kate Kestner Signs With Provident Entertainment

Singer-songwriter Molly Kate Kestner has signed with Provident Entertainment. Along with the announcement, Kestner has released her new single, “Content.”

Kestner first gained national attention as a teen when her original song went viral, earning more than 1.5 million views in less than two weeks, leading to a major label recording contract. Since then, she has continued to evolve as both an artist and a songwriter.

She has collaborated with producers and songwriters including Ryan Tedder, Michael Pollack, and Emily Warren, and has writing credits with artists such as Kelly Clarkson (“Move You,” “Slow Dance”), Andy Grammer (“Thousand Faces”), and Elevation Rhythm (“You Will Be Saved”). Kestner’s recent creative journey has also included writing four songs inspired by the Psalms and the story of David with her husband Brock for the soundtrack of the film DAVID.

“Content” marks Kestner’s first solo release in three years and introduces a new season of music rooted in faith, surrender, and authenticity. The song reflects on the ways people seek approval and validation from everything except God, ultimately pointing listeners toward the freedom that comes from fully trusting Him. Through uncertainty and change, “Content” reminds listeners that God remains faithful, present, and sovereign over every detail.
