William Beckmann Continues His Holiday Tradition With Fifth Annual ‘Las Posadas Tour’

Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and guitarist William Beckmann will celebrate the Christmas season this December with his fifth annual “Las Posadas Holiday Tour,” an intimate, one-of-a-kind holiday tradition.

Launching Dec. 16 at Dallas’ Majestic Theater, the four shows also visiting Houston, Austin, and San Antonio will feature Beckmann blending holiday classics, Spanish favorites and select originals alongside a specially assembled band with a horn section. Named after the Latin American custom, Las Posadas celebrates the spirit of community and hospitality and has become a cherished annual experience for Beckmann and his fans. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale this Friday (Oct. 16) at williambeckmann.com.

“The Las Posadas Tour has become a tradition of mine over the last five years,” says Beckmann. “It’s me in a tuxedo, performing a mix of Christmas songs and selections from the Great American Songbook. There’s always been a charitable element to these shows, and this year, I’m proud to support The Del Rio Chamber Foundation and OMNIA Casa Infantil, a nonprofit in my hometown that helps provide school supplies and everyday necessities for children in need. A close friend of my family is deeply involved with the organization, which makes supporting their work especially meaningful to me. We’ll have four shows across Texas this year, and I’m looking forward to carrying on the tradition.”

Beckmann is on the road this weekend with upcoming stops in Corpus Christi (Oct. 16), College Station (Nov. 5) and Alpine, Texas (Nov. 13).

Ashley Monroe Releases Live Album Recorded At Nashville’s Station Inn

Ashley Monroe has released Dear Nashville (Live At The Station Inn), a live album captured during Monroe’s two sold-out performances of her concept album Dear Nashville at The Station Inn earlier this year.

The new 10-song live project features co-producer and co-writer Luke Laird and pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin, and includes songs from Dear Nashville along with covers of Patty Loveless’ “Nothing But The Wheel” and Vince Gill’s “Whenever You Come Around.”

“Performing the Dear Nashville record with Paul Franklin and Luke Laird at the Station Inn will go down as one of the most magical nights of my entire career,” says Monroe. “The audience knew every word and completely blew us away. I truly feel like it was one of the purest forms of musical expression I’ve ever surrendered to, and I hope you can feel the spirit of that night when you listen to the live record.”

Laird adds, “The whole experience of making the album with Ashley is one of the most creatively fulfilling things I’ve ever been a part of. To have the opportunity to play it top to bottom at the legendary Station Inn with Ashley and Paul is one of those pinch me moments.”

“This recording is a musical time capsule,” says Franklin. “It captures a very special night marking the exact date when three like minded artists bonded through these amazing songs. Ashley’s voice was stellar, pouring out her heart and soul. I will never forget this moment!”

Following the album’s release, Monroe has been releasing videos to accompany each track. The video for album opener “I Hate Nashville” was shot at The Station Inn, while the video for “Steal” found Monroe reflecting on moments from across her career – from collaborating with Jack White, to sharing the stage with John Prine, and hanging out with her Pistol Annies bandmates. She also released videos for “Haunted,” “Gettin’ Out Of Hand,” “What Are We?” and “Dreaming.”

Next month, Monroe will hit the road for a joint mini-tour with Charlie Worsham that will include a stop at the Station Inn in Nashville on Nov. 16.

Country/Christian singer-songwriter Jordan Rowe has signed a joint venture label deal with Capitol Christian Music Group and Tape Room Music, building on his existing relationship with Tape Room.

“Tape Room and Capitol don’t only believe in me, but also in the direction the Lord has called me to with this music,” shares Rowe. “I’m thankful, I’m ready and I can’t wait to launch Kingdom Country with this all-star team.”

“It didn’t take long for us to recognize that Jordan is a special artist,” says Brad O’Donnell, CCMG. “The quality of his songwriting, his authenticity and the way he weaves his faith into his music set him apart in country and Christian music. We’re thrilled to welcome him to CCMG and look forward to working with Ashley and the entire Tape Room team to take his music to the world.”

“We’re so pumped to partner with Capitol Christian and Jordan, a true country boy with an authentic voice and a heart for Jesus,” adds Ashley Gorley, Tape Room. “We are excited to watch him bring the message to everyone, simply by being who he is and singing his brand of country music.”

“Jordan is an incredible artist with a clear sense of who he is and what he wants his music to stand for,” shares Alicia Pruitt, Tape Room. “We’re incredibly proud to be building this next chapter with him at Tape Room, and having Capitol Christian alongside us makes it that much more special. We believe Jordan’s music will connect with people and touch many lives through his lyrics.”

Rowe blends his Georgia roots, faith and love of country music in his signature “Kingdom Country” sound. Since signing with Tape Room Music in 2020, he has released music featuring Lainey Wilson, Tracy Lawrence, Rhett Akins and Eddie Montgomery. His songs have also been recorded by Luke Combs, Jordan Davis and Cory Asbury. Rowe has performed alongside Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell and Anne Wilson, and his work has been featured by Rolling Stone, American Songwriter and CMT.

His first single under the partnership, “If Jesus Lived In My Hometown,” will release Oct. 23.

“Writing ‘If Jesus Lived In My Hometown’ made me ask myself a hard question: if Jesus walked the streets of my town, who would I have been in the story,” adds Rowe. “I hope listeners hear it and ask themselves the same thing.”

The museum features nearly 600 artifacts documenting Jackson’s life and career. Displays cover everything from his childhood and marriage to his move to Nashville with a paper bag full of songs as he pursued a career in music.

The collection includes Jackson’s Grammy, CMA and ACM Awards, along with special songwriting honors and Hall of Fame recognitions. Visitors can also see the chair he used while writing early hits such as “Here In The Real World” and clothing worn throughout his career. Among the standout items are the boots, jeans and water ski featured in his “Chattahoochee” music video.

Other exhibits include a childhood tricycle, school report cards, a sketchbook, his first cowboy hat and boots. The museum also features gifts presented to Jackson in appreciation of his song “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),” including a piece of metal from the World Trade Center, stone from the Pentagon and an honorary chief’s helmet from the Fire Department of New York.

Additionally, the museum showcases video footage of many of his live performances, including his final show at Nissan Stadium earlier this year.

The first floor of the museum building features Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Distillery. Tickets for both the museum and the distillery are available here.
