Candidates must have a degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or equivalent work experience, such as two or more years of hands-on payroll experience. They should also have knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, rules and regulations, an understanding of/skill in the application of local, state, and federal payroll rules and regulations as well as a comprehensive understanding of Federal wage and hour laws, Internal Revenue Service regulations, and payroll practices.
