Ricky Skaggs has been announced as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2013 Artist-in-Residence, which recognizes a musical master credited with contributing a significant body of work to American popular music. The distinction will feature two presentations in the Hall’s CMA Theater on November 18 and 19.
Skaggs’ shows will feature a Country music theme for the first evening; special guests that night will include Emmylou Harris, Brad Paisley, Peter Frampton, Gordon Kennedy and The Whites.
