“Today’s business environment is as challenging and fast-paced as any in our 18 years of business,” Big Yellow Dog’s Kerry O’Neil and Carla Wallace said in a statement. “Being able to align our company with such a serious player in copyright administration is a great opportunity for us and our writers.”

Mel Tillis is still recovering from his hospitalization from diverticulitis and resulting colon surgery last year. Tillis traveled from Nashville to his home state of Florida in November and is currently resting and undergoing physical therapy at his home in Ocala, according to his publicist Don Murry Grubbs, who adds, “His vitals are good and his sense of humor is very much intact. He is trying to get stronger and we are hopeful that will be the case now that he’s back at home. He misses all of his loyal fans and is beyond thankful for all of the well wishes. Your continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”
