LOCASH took the stage at the 2027 Banana Ball City Selection Show last week in Savannah, which streamed live on ESPN2, the Banana Ball YouTube channel, Disney+, and ESPN+. After the Banana Ball Championship League unveiled its full 2027 tour schedule, LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas kept the party going with a performance of their Platinum smash “I Love This Life” with some league players joining in for a dance-driven finale. The duo also broke the news that the 2027 Banana Bowl will be held at the brand-new Nissan Stadium in Nashville. LOCASH became the first act to perform a halftime show for the Savannah Bananas, and the first act to perform with the team at an NFL stadium (Raymond James Stadium). The appearance comes one week before the release of their new album, Chris & Preston, on Oct. 23 via Galaxy Label Group.

The song was also nominated for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Her debut single “Desperate” set a record for the most stations spinning a song on its impact date in Christian radio history, spending eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian AC and Mediabase Christian AC charts. The song also received a nomination for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at the 2025 GMA Dove Awards and was later reimagined in collaboration with Lauren Daigle. Both Gold hits appear on MacDonald’s self-titled debut album and newly-released deluxe album.
