Dylan Scott To Launch ‘Dear Big City Tour’ In January

Dylan Scott will kick off his new headlining “Dear Big City Tour” beginning Jan. 21 in Detroit. Graham Barham, Cody Lohden and Jacob Hackworth will join as special guests on the dates.

Named after Scott’s current single “Dear Big City,” the tour will visit 18 cities including Albuquerque. Grand Rapids, Philadelphia, Denver and more through March 6. Ticket presale begins today (Sept. 17), with general on-sale beginning Sept. 25.

“It only felt right to name this tour after the song that calls to the big city as a small-town kid,” says Scott. “I know a lot of our fans have left their hometowns to venture into some of these bigger markets, and we’re so excited to be able to bring the live show to them in the new year.”

Scott’s latest single, the tour’s namesake, “Dear Big City,” is currently climbing the charts. The poignant track serves as a heartfelt letter to the city that may one day take his son far from home, asking it to protect his son while giving him a full and meaningful life as he balances holding onto small-town roots. He also recently released a new anthem about his home state, “Girl From Louisiana,” an interpolation of Garth Brooks’ massive hit “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”
