Nashville’s ‘Live On The Green’ Series Marks 2027 Return With Lawnwarming Party

August 28, 2026/by Lorie Hollabaugh

Lightning 100 and Opry Entertainment Group are bringing back Nashville’s beloved “Live on The Green” concert series, and in celebration of the series return, a “Live on The Green” Lawnwarming Party will take place on Oct. 18 at Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater.

The special launch party event will feature performances from alumni “Live on The Green” headliners Guster and Grace Potter, along with additional artists to be announced.

“With the help of our friends at Opry Entertainment Group, we’re thrilled to celebrate the return of ‘Live on The Green’ in 2027 with a special Lawnwarming Party this October,” says Lester Turner Jr., President of Tuned In Broadcasting, Inc. parent company of Lightning 100. “Since its inception in 2009, the series has always focused on bringing Nashville together through great music. We are making good on that promise and providing over 1,000 free tickets to the community and other affordable ticket options. We can’t wait to see you there, Nashville!”

Opry Entertainment Group’s Vice President of Amphitheaters and Festivals, Shawn Krauel adds, “We’re excited to welcome ‘Live on The Green’ to Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater and give fans a preview of what they can expect when the series returns next year. Our goal is to build on the community and festival atmosphere that have made this concert series so special while creating a new and elevated experience for all. With its purpose-built design and state-of-the-art production capabilities, Ascend Amphitheater is the ideal setting to bring that vision to life.”

Reserved tickets to the “Live on The Green” Lawnwarming Party are on sale now at ascendamphitheater.com. Opportunities to receive free tickets will be available through Lightning 100’s on-air contests, their online ticket window and various on-site promotions leading up to the party.
