Andrew Kautz has launched Kautz & Associates, a new consulting firm.

“I’m opening a bespoke consulting practice, advising a small number of hand-selected private clients as they navigate not only the music industry but the ever-changing opportunities and challenges that technology and progress present,” Kautz says. “This isn’t a firm built for volume – it’s built for depth,”

Kautz most recently served as President of Strategy & Operations for HYBE Label Service, HYBE’s first global department, where he created unified distribution, marketing, and operational infrastructure across its business units in North America, Latin America, Japan, Korea, and India.

His career began at Nashville’s Emerald Sound Studios in 1989, where he worked his way up from college intern to Chief Operating Officer. In 2005, Scott Borchetta brought him on as the first hire at Big Machine. He served as General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and President of Label Operations supporting the careers of such artists as Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and Carly Pearce.
