Tauren Wells Readies First Live Album
Tauren Wells will release his first live album, Here Comes The Church, on Oct. 2.
The project was recorded in front of a sold-out crowd at Austin City Limits Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Wells brought together Davies., Paul and Hannah McClure, Israel Houghton, Hulvey, Naomi Raine, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tiffany Hudson, Pastor Mike Jr., Abbie Gamboa, Sarai Rivera, Todd Galberth, Robert Angel and Red Rocks Worship for the 14-song live set culled from his fourth full-length LP, Breathe On It, released earlier this year.
“This isn’t just a gospel album, a Spanish-language album, a black album, or a white album,” shares Wells. “Of course, we can’t cover it all, but the record is an expression of my goal to draw everyone out of the little worlds that we separately exist in and into a place of unity.”
