Nicole Alexis has signed to Hardworking Record Company.

The Nashville-based alternative singer-songwriter first garnered attention with social media covers of New Found Glory, Kelly Clarkson, Smashing Pumpkins and more. She released her debut EP Mirrors & Smoke earlier this year.

In celebration of the announcement, she has released her debut track on the label, “Goodbye.”

“’Goodbye’ is really about mourning an older version of yourself,” she says. “It’s about outgrowing patterns, relationships, and identities that once felt safe, even when they were hurting you. I wanted the song to capture that emotional tension between wanting to move forward while still desperately trying to hold onto what’s familiar.”
