Midland & Clint Black Plot Fall Tour

June 2, 2026/by Lorie Hollabaugh

Clint Black and Midland are teaming up for a special limited-run tour this fall featuring eight exclusive performances in October.

Kicking off Oct. 8 in Charlotte, the tour will include stops in Indianapolis, Louisville, Lynchburg and more. Select artist and local pre-sales begin tomorrow (June 3) and continue throughout the week, with public on sale beginning June 5. With a career spanning decades, Black continues to entertain audiences with timeless hits including “Killin’ Time,” “A Better Man,” and “Like the Rain,” while Midland has earned widespread acclaim for its distinctive sound and fan-favorites like “Drinkin’ Problem,” “Burn Out,” and “Sunrise Tells the Story.”

Black and Midland have also joined forces to record a new duet “Up In Texas,” a name-checking reel that cites Lonesone Dove, Jerry Jones, Billy Bob’s, Billy Graham, Lucchese boots, Shiner Bock beers, Sam Houston, Davy Crockett and Willie Nelson. The tune appears on Midland’s upcoming album Stages, due out June 12, which was produced by Trent Willmon and also features “Drinkin’ Dark Whiskey,” Mackenzie Carpenter duet “I Wish You Would,” “Glass Half Empty,” and more.

Black has been busy on the road promoting his new memoir, Killin’ Time: My Life and Music, which is out now and offers fans an intimate look at his life and career. He also served as co-executive producer of the Lifetime original movie When I Said I Do, inspired by his hit song of the same name. He is currently being honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with “Clint Black: The Hard Way On Purpose,” a career-spanning exhibit celebrating his enduring impact on country music.
