Kashus Culpepper Readies ‘Act I: Summer Nights’

June 10, 2026/by Lauryn Sink

Kashus Culpepper will release Act I: Summer Nights on June 19 via Big Loud.

The four new songs add to his debut album, released earlier this year.

The EP kicks off with a cover of Glen Campbell’s “Southern Nights” in addition to the four originals. Recorded in Nashville, Culpepper tapped producer and co-writer Mike Robinson, as well as former collaborators Oscar Charles, Luke Preston, Grady Block and more for this project.

This year the Alabama native embarked on a headlining run in major markets, as well as dates to come with Niall Horan, Shaboozey, Jelly Roll, Riley Green, Thomas Rhett, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Wyatt Flores.

Act I: Summer Nights Track List:
1. “Southern Nights” (Allen Toussaint)
2. “Let Me Show You Love” (Kashus Culpepper, Todd Clark, Seth Ennis, Mike Robinson)
3. “Miss You Much Longer” (Kashus Culpepper, Grady Block, Mike Robinson)
4. “Lights Fade Interlude” (Kashus Culpepper, David Crutcher, Mike Robinson)
5. “Til The Sun Goes Down” (Kashus Culpepper, Nathan Bess, Oscar Charles, Luke Preston)
