Josh Ross Notches Second Career No. 1
Josh Ross has notched his second consecutive No. 1 at U.S. Country Radio with “Hate How You Look.” The tune currently sits atop the Mediabase Country and Billboard Country Airplay charts.
The achievement also makes Ross the first solo Canadian male artist in more than 50 years to earn back-to-back U.S. Country Radio No. 1 singles, following Hank Snow.
“I still can’t believe I get to do this. Seeing ‘Hate How You Look’ follow ‘Single Again’ to No. 1 is something I’ll never forget. Huge thanks to country radio, the fans, my team, and everyone who’s supported these songs since the begging. It means more than you know,” says Ross.
The tune was co-penned by Nicholas Sainato, Chris McKenna, Jessica Farren and Christian Yancey, with production from Matt Geroux. “Hate How You Look” follows Ross’ first No. 1 hit, “Single Again,” which recently became RIAA Gold certified in the U.S.
Ross will embark on his international “Later Tonight Tour” later this summer, and will also make festival appearances at XRoads41, The Long Road Festival, St. Pete Country Fest and more. He will also join Dan + Shay on “The Young Tour” this fall.
