Franni Cash To Release Debut Solo Project In September
Singer-songwriter and former We The Kingdom member Franni Cash is releasing her debut solo album, Here I Am, on Sept. 18. To celebrate the news, Cash has released “Menace,” written alongside Natalie Hemby and Cameron Jaymes.
The 13-tracks on Here I Am reveal her journey, including escaping from a religious cult, reconciling her faith, and coming out with confidence to move on from the past. “Menace” follows the release of “Church Clothes,” “Raised By Wolves,” and “Jesus All Along,” which have racked up over five million streams to date.
“Making this album has been one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done,” shares Cash. “Leaving a somewhat successful band with my family, I didn’t realize how much of my identity it had become. When I took a step away, I had no idea if I was gonna even make music again. But I quickly realized, singing was like breathing for me, and I had to write to get through this life.”
Cash is a two-time Grammy-nominated artist, three-time Dove Award-winner, vocalist and songwriter who co-wrote two No. 1 songs and was named one of the top 20 breakout artists across all genres as part of We The Kingdom.
