Chase Wright Is ‘Chasing Shadows’ On Latest LP Due In May
Chase Wright offers up his most vulnerable chapter yet with the release of his new album, Chasing Shadows, on May 8.
Chasing Shadows traces the emotional aftermath of a difficult past relationship while capturing the growth, healing, and perspective that followed. Written from a place of hard-won honesty, the album reflects on heartbreak and fatherhood, while ultimately pointing toward hope as Wright steps into a new season of life. With Chasing Shadows, Wright doesn’t just revisit the past, he reclaims it, turning deeply personal experiences into work that feels both intimate and universal. Writers contributing to the album include Andy Albert, Jared Keim, Emily Shackleton, Ned Cameron and more.
“There’s a lot of pain in this record, but there’s also healing, faith, and a new beginning,” says Wright. “I wrote these songs in a season where everything in my life was changing, and I had to learn how to let go of who I was to become who I’m meant to be. This album is the sound of that journey, and of finding peace on the other side of it all.”
