Sabrina Carpenter Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut
Pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Tuesday night (Oct. 7).
After being introduced by Sheryl Crow, the two time Grammy winner started off with “Please Please Please,” before going in to her country track “Slim Pickins.” She then made the first ever live performance of “Go Go Juice” where she played the kazoo, before ending the debut with current single “Manchild.”
“You really raised me with this music,” Carpenter addressed the crowd from the circle. “And you being fans of [country music] is what is continuing this legacy and allowing artists to be able to experiment and also feel inspired. And it’s really beautiful.”
