Genre-bending artist Clever has released his debut full-length country album, Coyote, today (Oct. 3).

The 21-track project marks a bold new chapter for the Alabama native, highlighting his fearless fusion of hip-hop, country and alternative influences. The album emerges as a deeply personal soundtrack that spotlights Clever’s versatility and honesty and sets the stage for a bold new chapter in the artist’s history.

“Coyote is a voice in the darkness — a hymnal for the heartbroken. To me, this album is proof that you can bleed, burn, and bounce back,” Clever says. “Visually, I picture an old Chevelle on a desert road, smoking a Marlboro, and blowing smoke into the night sky.
