Cindy Watts Appointed Editor Of Nashville Lifestyles
Veteran country music journalist Cindy Watts has been named Editor of Nashville Lifestyles magazine.
The Sevierville native has been in the Nashville media industry for over 20 years, starting her career at Murfreesboro’s Daily News Journal, before joining The Tennessean and USA Today Network. Watts left The Tennessean in 2020. Since then she has written for People, CMT, American Songwriter and USA Today. Watts is also a recipient of the CMA Media Achievement Award.
“I’ve spent my career telling stories about the artists that make country music special and trying to connect them with the people who need to hear their music,” shares Watts. “Now I’m able to expand that even more. Becoming editor of Nashville Lifestyles feels like the natural next step—a chance to celebrate the city I love and the community that continues to inspire me.”
