Triple Tigers Expands Promo Team With Akando Music

Triple Tigers Records is expanding its promotion department with a second promotion team, Akando Music.
Promotion veteran JC Coffey has been named Sr. Director of National Promotion at Akando and will direct the day-to-day operations along with the efforts of the Akando promo team. Raffaella Braun, Triple Tigers VP of Promotion and Kevin Herring, Co-President of Triple Tigers Records, will oversee Akando Music.
“With more and more artists vying for radio exposure, Akando will serve as a valuable resource, offering an option for artists without a country radio promo team” says Herring.
Triple Tigers Records was launched in 2016 and the executive team includes George Couri (managing partner), Annie Ortmeier (Co-President), Herring (Co-President), Laura Hostelley (VP Marketing) and Braun (VP Promotion). Their roster currently includes Scotty McCreery, Russell Dickerson, Jordan Fletcher and Shane Profitt. The label has had 11 No. 1 singles at country radio and over 25 RIAA certifications.
