Niko Moon Slates New Album ‘American Palm’ For July 18
Niko Moon is gearing up for the release of his new album American Palm on July 18 via EMPIRE. A new track from the project, “King Of The Island” is out this Friday (June 27).
The cowboy/island music tune talks about wanting to kick up your boots, retire on an island and just be, and was written by Niko’s father Cris Cown, who also performs on the track. Moon recently teased the track on socials with his dad, saying, “My dad’s 67 and wrote this song, and never had a viral moment. Let’s blow this up and blow his mind!”
Along with the new single, American Palm, which is Moon’s third studio project, will include previously-released tracks “Sandcastles,” “Boat Song” and “I Love This Beach.”
Following the release of the new project, Moon will be hitting the road this fall on his headlining “American Palm Tour,” which kicks off on Oct. 2 at Joe’s Live in Chicago and visits Anaheim, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver and more, wrapping in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Nov. 14. Tickets for the new dates go on sale June 27.
The year has already been a packed one for Moon as his recent song “Sandcastles” was released in honor of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month this month.
