ACM Unveils 2025 Radio Award Winners
The Academy of Country Music has revealed the 2025 Radio Award Winners as part of the 60th Annual ACM Awards, taking place May 8 in Frisco, Texas and streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Ella Langley helped spread the news to the recipients by calling them on the air to surprise them with their ACM win.
This year saw a plethora of first-time honoree winners, including Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase of Crook & Chase Countdown for National Weekly On-Air Personality of the Year, Josh Holleman, Rachael Hunter and Steve Grunwald of Josh, Rachael and Grunwald In The Morning for Major Market On-Air Personality of the Year, Joey Tack and Nancy Barger of Joey & Nancy for Medium Market On-Air Personality of the Year and Mel McCrae of The Cat Pak Morning Show for Small Market On-Air Personality of the Year.
National Daily On-Air Personality went to Big D and Bubba, their fourth trophy for Big D & Bubba. The Big DaveShow’s Big Dave and Stattman collected the win for Large Market On-Air Personality of the Year, while Brent Lane saw his third win for The Cat Pak Morning Show, Small Market On-Air Personality of the Year.
For this year’s Radio Station winners, Denver’s KYGO earned its second win for Major Market Radio Station of the Year while WQDR in Raleigh won a fourth time for Large Market Radio Station of the Year. Medium Market Radio Station of the Year went to Knoxville’s WIVK for a ninth time and second time winner WXBQ in Bristol, Virginia took home the trophy for Small Market Radio Station of the Year.
