Teri Nelson Carpenter & Team Launch 507 Publishing

Teri Nelson Carpenter has launched a new Nashville-based company, 507 Publishing, a division of Reel Muzik Werks.

CEO Nelson Carpenter launched parent company Reel Muzik Werks in 2009 in Los Angeles as a film/TV music company with a specialty in international rights management. The new 507 Publishing A&R team will include A&R Manager Madison Policastri and Producer/A&R Coordinator Cooper Carr.

Policastri launched her career at Demolition Music Publishing, later moving to Red Street Records, and joined the team in May 2024 to handle session booking, song plugging, label services and artist/songwriter development.

Carr interned with Reel Muzik Werks before joining the team. He brings experience as a producer, songwriter and audio engineer to his new role at 507, where he assists in session booking, song-plugging and producing music for the catalog.

“507 Publishing will steer Reel Muzik Werks in a direction of artistic growth in many ways,” says Carpenter. “I’m so excited about the future of this new endeavor, where great music will emerge from our new slate of creatives. It’s not every day you get the privilege of working with such incredible talent. I am looking forward to exceptional music and opportunities from our young and innovative team.”
