Jennie Smythe, Founder and CEO of Girlilla Marketing, was announced as the feature speaker for MusicRow’s Rising Women on the Row breakfast on March 20 at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Presented by City National Bank, the event honors women making waves in Nashville’s music industry.

Sony Music Nashville has promoted Mallory Michaels to VP, Radio Marketing & Promotion, while Big Machine Label Group has named Jodi Dawes VP of Publicity & Communications. Meanwhile, Sony Music Publishing Nashville and RED Creative Group have signed hit songwriter Kelly Archer to a global publishing deal.

At Country Radio Seminar 2025, the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was revealed. On-air legends Big D & Bubba, Mary McCoy and Rowdy Yates will be inducted alongside radio pros Ginny “Rogers” Brophey, Clay Hunnicutt and Gregg Swedberg.

The Grand Ole Opry has unveiled its Opry NextStage class of 2025, featuring Avery Anna, Chayce Beckham, Dasha, Kaitlin Butts, Kashus Culpepper, Tigirlily Gold and Tucker Wetmore. The program, presented by Tecovas, highlights rising country talent on the iconic Opry stage.

Fresh record deals are in the mix—Sony Music Nashville has signed Latina country artist Kat Luna, while Red Street Records has added Taylor Austin Dye and Kaleb Sanders. The label has also promoted Kelly King to VP of Red Street Publishing and brought in Patrick Waters as Senior Director of A&R Country.

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) continues to elevate new talent, promoting Nashville-based trainees Ethan Goldish and Cam Jensen to Agents in its Music Touring department.
