CMHOFM Hosts Rosanne Cash For Interview, Performance

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum hosted a sold-out interview and performance with Rosanne Cash in support of its newest exhibition, “Rosanne Cash: Time Is a Mirror.” Cash discussed her career and performed several songs with her husband/longtime collaborator, Grammy-winning songwriter and producer John Leventhal. Museum Writer-Editor RJ Smith hosted the program in the museum’s Ford Theater. Cash will return with Leventhal for a full concert in the museum’s CMA Theater on May 13, and tickets will go on sale here on Jan. 31.
Fourth Annual Nash To Naples Fest Wraps Raising $75K
The fourth annual Nash to Naples Songwriter Festival in Naples, Florida welcomed songwriters Lori McKenna, Barry Dean, Kelly Archer, Steve Moakler, Jonathan Hutcherson and Mia Mantia for an evening of music and storytelling. A sold-out crowd of over 1,300 attendees gathered to enjoy the performances, raising $75,000 in support of Hacienda of Hope and Habitat for Humanity of Collier County. Plans are already underway for a special fifth annual festival, set for January 2026.

The AIMP held its “Empowering Music Publishers: A Conversation with SoundExchange and The MLC” panel on Jan. 22 at The MLC in Nashville. Moderator Grayson Stephens (Vice President, Publishing, Big Machine Label Group) spoke with panelists Marc Rucker (Associate Director, SoundExchange) and Lindsey Major (Chief Member Experience Officer, The MLC) about how their organizations help independent music publishers in the Nashville music community and beyond.
Country Music Hall Of Fame Honors Four Volunteers With Dick Kottler Award

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum honored four museum volunteers with the Dick Kottler Volunteer Award during a reception for volunteers, which featured a performance by museum Poets and Prophets honoree and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Tom Douglas. In recognition of volunteer Kottler’s tremendous contributions to the museum’s mission during his lifetime, volunteers who donate 10 years and 1,200 hours of service in support of the museum receive the award, which also includes a special gold-embroidered volunteer vest and their name enshrined on a seat in the museum’s CMA Theater — a 776-seat, live performance venue.
Award recipients included Julie Bayhi, Joe Haase, Larry Johnson and Lindsey Read. In 2018, the museum introduced the volunteer award in Kottler’s memory.
