Cody Johnson Wraps ‘The Leather Tour’ In Las Vegas
Cody Johnson wrapped “The Leather Tour” this past weekend with two sold-out shows in Las Vegas at the MGM Garden Arena.
Lainey Wilson made a surprise appearance during his final concert on Friday night (Dec. 13), joining him on Willie Nelson’s “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.” Johnson was in Vegas earlier in the week to compete in the World Series of Team Roping during the 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo at Thomas & Mack Center.
“The Leather Tour” launched last January with two sold-out shows, and went on to sell out 30 stops during its run, including Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and his first-ever headline stadium date at Arlington’s Globe Life Field.
Johnson has celebrated another banner year in 2024 with two No. 1, award-winning singles “The Painter” and “Dirt Cheap,” adding 2.5 billion global streams this year to his now 8.5 billion career global streams total. Additionally, he plans will ring in 2025 by performing during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC before kicking off his “Leather Deluxe Tour” on Jan. 17.
