Charles Esten To Celebrate Album Anniversary With Deluxe Edition Vinyl Drop

December 19, 2024/by Liza Anderson

Charles Esten plans to commemorate one year since the release of his debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty, by dropping a deluxe edition double vinyl on Jan. 24.

Esten has both writing and acoustic guitar credits on the special version of the Marshall Altman-produced project, which includes nine new tracks. Alongside collaborations with Sara Evans and Keb’ Mo’, the deluxe edition features a live performance recorded during the sold-out “Nashville Reunion Tour” as well as never-before-heard demos and worktapes.

Additionally, 200 limited edition vinyls will be available. Pressed in red to match the album cover art, the vinyls will be autographed, hand-numbered and bundled with a poster and guitar pick.

This announcement follows Esten’s return to the United States after touring Europe as a part of the USO Holiday Show with the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Christopher W. Grady.
