CreatiVets & Big Machine Label Group Release ‘Veterans Day Special, Volume V’
CreatiVets and Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) have released a new project, Veterans Day Special, Volume V, in celebration of Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
The four-song collection tells the stories of four different veterans, and highlights the unique experiences of those who have served.
“This Veterans Day, we’re proud to present Veterans Day Special, Volume V, marking a new chapter in our mission to heal through creativity,” says Richard Casper, CreatiVets Executive Director. “With the launch of our new L.A. songwriting program, we’re excited to explore new musical genres that resonate with a broader spectrum of veterans. Veterans Day Special, Volume V showcases this diversity, blending different styles and sounds to capture the multifaceted experiences of those who have served. By expanding our musical horizons, we aim to reach more veterans and provide them with creative outlets that truly speak to them.”
Since launching in 2013, CreatiVets has helped more than 2,500 combat veterans—with more than 500 veterans participating in its songwriting programs to date. Serving as a connector for opportunities that magnify CreatiVets within the entertainment space, BMLG continues to contribute to CreatiVets’ operational initiatives through Scott and Sandi Borchetta’s Music Has Value Fund and through Big Machine Music, which serves as the nonprofit’s co-publisher.
