Mitchell Tenpenny’s 10Penny Fund Raises $230,500

October 14, 2024/by Lorie Hollabaugh

Mitchell Tenpenny

Mitchell Tenpenny raised $230,500 for his 10Penny Fund in the the last two weeks through his third annual Music Row Cornhole Tournament and some other events, as well as an incredibly generous surprise donation from Jordan Davis.

Last week Tenpenny participated in an in-store signing at David Yurman where they donated 10% of their store sales that day to the Fund and the following day held his third annual cornhole tournament at Sony Publishing on Music Row. Additional partners and sponsors contributed monetary donations or merchandise items for an online auction to help with the grand tally, with the bidding ending on Friday (Oct. 11).

During a Toronto tour stop last week, Tenpenny, who was a special guest on Davis’ “Damn Good Time Tour,” was asked to return to the stage where he was surprised with a $200,000 donation which was gathered from every stop on the tour this year.

Tenpenny’s third annual Cornhole Tournament was held in the parking lot of Sony Music Publishing on Music Row with Gavin Adcock, Graham Barham, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Travis Denning, Lanco, Tracy Lawrence, Chris Young and more participating. Songwriters Jared Mullins and Matt Alderman were the champions of the tournament.
