Alana Springsteen Makes NPR Tiny Desk Concert Appearance
Alana Springsteen appeared this week on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series live from the NPR Music headquarters. During the performance she premiered an unreleased track “Feels Good,” plus stripped down her brand-new “Hot Honey” collaboration with multi-Platinum superstar DJ/producer Tiësto in a solo rendition.
“I grew up studying Tiny Desk Concerts,” says Springsteen. “I’d memorize them and dissect the creative decisions and departures that were made from the original versions of the songs. They were always the most inspiring display of artistry to me. No production, effects, or tracks to hide behind. Just yourself, your band, and your God-given talent. I think that’s why Tiny Desk is as revered as it is by artists and fans. In a world where there’s so much noise and it’s so easy to fake perfection, it’s a platform that removes the possibility of inauthenticity. I’m still completely shook that I got to play it.”

Chance Peña was presented a Gold plaque for “In My Room” from his album Lovers To Strangers by his partners at ONErpm.
“Two years ago I’d have never dreamed this song would do what it’s done. Biggest lesson I’ve learned as an artist – TRUST YOUR GUT,” said Pena on his instagram.
