Brenda Lee To Release ‘Greatest Hits’ Collection In September

Brenda Lee is set to release her Greatest Hits collection on Sept. 20 via UMG Nashville/UMe. The album will be available digitally as well as on vinyl in an exclusive blue marble color.
The project features 15 tracks remastered from original production tapes, 11 of the which reached the top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Among those included are hits “I’m Sorry,” “Sweet Nothin’s” and “I Want To Be Wanted.”
“These songs are really the gems that make up the soundtrack to my early career, and I just love that fans, old and new, will now have the opportunity to listen to this music again,” shares Lee.
At age 79, she is the oldest woman to top Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, surpassing Cher and Mariah Carey.
