Amy Grant Wraps Spring Tour With Ryman Headlining Shows
Amy Grant recently wrapped her 33-city spring 2024 tour filled with special moments of reflection, nostalgia, and favorites from her 25-year career.
Each evening was filled with hits from the past 25 years including “El Shaddai,” “Baby Baby,” “House of Love,” “Sing Your Praise To The Lord,” along with deep cuts that surprised audiences including “What About The Love,” “Nobody Home,” and her latest tracks “Trees We’ll Never See” and “What You Heard.”
Grant played back-to-back Mother’s Day weekend shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, her first solo headlining shows at the historic venue in 25 years. She relived an iconic Grammy Awards moment during one of the shows when her granddaughter Penelope walked out onstage while she was performing “Baby Baby.” Her daughter Mille, who “Baby Baby” was written for and who walked on stage during the 1992 broadcast, surprised Grant by sending Penelope onto the stage, reliving the special moment.
The artist will next host her annual Barefoot Republic camp at her farm for two weeks. She once dreamt of kids running through her land laughing and having fun, and at Barefoot Republic camp, Grant takes part in everything from leading worship each morning, to archery and all kinds of outdoor adventures with the kids.
