Bridgette Tatum Exits SoNASH Publishing
Hit songwriter and entrepreneur Bridgette Tatum has exited SoNash Publishing, the company she co-created and launched in October 2022. In January, Tatum plans to refocus her efforts on her production and artist creative/mentoring services venture, Tatum Town.
Tatum has more than 100 recorded songs under her belt, including the No. 1 most-played song of 2009, Jason Aldean‘s “She’s Country.”
Riley Green Goes Platinum With ‘Different ‘Round Here’
While performing at Big Machine Label Group (BMLG)’s 2023 Retreat Welcome Party on Wednesday night (Dec. 13), Riley Green was presented with a plaque for his “Different ‘Round Here” earning RIAA Platinum certification.
ACM’s OnRamp Program Gathers for Mid-Year Celebration
The Academy of Country Music’s much-heralded OnRamp program’s inaugural class gathered to celebrate reaching the midway point of the year-long program and toast their many accomplishments in 2023 with ACM leadership as well as celebrate the holiday season.
OnRamp is a partnership with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) focused on improving inclusivity and equity within Music City that aims to empower the next generation of leaders in the early stages of their careers by ranting access to professional development opportunities, mentorship, industry exposure and more. ACM CEO Damon Whiteside, ACM Board member and DEI Task Force Chair Shannon Sanders, ACM Manager of Programming & Community Engagement Kortney Toney, BMAC Co-Founder/Co-Chair Willie “Prophet” Stiggers and BreatheWithMe Co-Founder Ann Haggart were all in attendance.
