ACM Announces New Board Members For 2023-2024
The Academy of Country Music has announced the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term.
Previously announced officer roles include: Ebie McFarland, Chair; Randy Bernard, Vice-Chair; Cris Lacy, Vice President; Carmen Romano, Treasurer; Gayle Holcomb, Sergeant-At-Arms; Jeff Krones, Parliamentarian; and Tommy Moore, Secretary.
“2024 is kicking off an exciting new chapter in the rich history of the Academy, and as it’s shaping up to be another monumental year for the ACM and the country music genre, the guidance of these well-respected industry leaders will ensure the ACM’s pivotal role in the success and recognition of country music in the next year and for years to come. We’re so fortunate to have this dedicated group of individuals who have raised their hand to serve on our Board of Directors,” says Damon Whiteside, ACM CEO.
This year, seven of the 13 qualifying professional categories were elected by the ACM’s membership. In addition to those elected, Director-At-Large Positions have been appointed by the Chair, Vice-Chair and Vice President. Directors are elected from each category based on the number of members in that category. Each Director serves a staggered two-year term.
