Red Street Publishing has signed newcomer Daymon Osborn to its writer roster.
Originally hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Osborn took a leap of faith after working the Texas oil fields and moved to Music City in 2019 to pursue his dream of being a songwriter. After nearly four years of playing writer rounds and pursuing every co-writing opportunity that came his way, he has earned his first-ever publishing deal at Red Street. Osborn joins the Red Street roster alongside writers Kelley Lovelace and Ryan Griffin.
“I’m grateful to the whole Red Street family for believing in me,” says Osborn. “I’m surrounded by a team that knows the industry well. As excited as I am to have signed my first publishing deal, this is only the beginning. I’m ready to get to work.”
Though fairly new to the music community, Osborn has worked with buzz-worthy songwriters such as Logan Wall, Jenna LaMaster and Troy Cartwright, and just landed his first cut with Tyler Chambers‘ “Loves Me Like A Small Town.”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Daymon Osborn signed to Red Street Publishing,” shares Kelly King, Red Street’s Sr. Director of A&R. “Daymon brings a wealth of ideas, energy and great story telling to each and every song he writes. I can’t wait to see and hear the magic Daymon creates with us on the Street!”
