Dolly’s Imagination Library Celebrates 200 Million Books Gifted With Enchanted Bookmarks
Dolly Parton‘s Imagination Library is celebrating a milestone of 200 million books gifted since the program first launched back in 1995. The program has been gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five around the world for decades.
To mark this special milestone, Parton has decided to give back in a special way with a fun-filled promotion. During International Literacy Month in September, Parton’s Imagination Library will randomly gift seven enchanted Dolly Parton bookmarks into Imagination Library books in five countries.
The seven special bookmark recipients will get to meet Parton over Zoom, receive a signed letter and photo from her, receive tickets to Dollywood, and have $2,000 donated to their local Imagination Library program. The enchanted bookmarks will be mailed in September’s books, and families who haven’t enrolled in the program can do so before July 31 to possibly snag an enchanted bookmark.
