Mark Logsdon has been promoted to Vice President at PLA Media. Formerly serving as Executive Director of PLA, Logsdon started with the publicity and marketing agency in 2007, and has continued to grow the company and serve the team for over 15 years.
Prior to joining the company, the Leitchfield, Kentucky native gained valuable experience at Sony/BMG, RLM/Mission Management and the Atlantis Music Conference. He is a member of the Society Of Leaders In Development (SOLID), and a yearly MTSU scholarship was established by PLA Media in his honor.
Logsdon’s client roster has included the Tina Turner Museum, Dancing with the Stars Finalist Noah Galloway, Johnny Cash Museum, Patsy Cline Museum, and many more. During his tenure, he was often seen alongside country icon Lynn Anderson, whom he worked with for the last eight years of her life. He’s also directed PR efforts for Buddy Lee Attractions, Brownsville Station, Chase Rice, Deborah Allen, Mark Chesnutt, Razzy Bailey, Mrs. Tennessee and many others. Logsdon also won the former CMT game show, The Singing Bee, in 2009.
“I am so proud to announce the well-deserved promotion of Mark to Vice President. Our long collaboration has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I am most grateful for his loyal dedication and treasure him as a brain trust,” says PLA President Pam Lewis. “This is the longest relationship that I’ve ever had with a man.”
“I’m very proud of the work and the team that we have at PLA and look forward to expanding and continuing the legacy that Pam launched when she founded PLA. I’ve gotten to work with some of the most talented people and propel inspiring and unique projects,” adds Logsdon. “I will never forget that I met Pam and Beyonce on the same day 15 years ago. That was quite a unique way to start a new chapter.”
