Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Take Second Trip To Top Of Charts With “Happy Anywhere”

December 8, 2020/by Lorie Hollabaugh

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are enjoying an early Christmas present this week as their duet, “Happy Anywhere,” has topped the country charts. The feel-good song from the couple is their second chart-topper together and Shelton’s 28th No. 1 overall. The single, written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins, has earned 70 million on-demand streams as well as upwards of 600,000 U.S. track equivalents.

“I don’t know how the hell this keeps happening, but I couldn’t be more grateful that it does,” Shelton said. “Thank you to the songwriters, the music makers, the fans… thank you to my team and to country radio… and, of course, thank you to the incredible Gwen Stefani. Wishing everyone health and safety. We hope that y’all can be ‘Happy Anywhere’ this holiday season.”

Shelton and Stefani debuted “Happy Anywhere” on the TODAY Summer Concert Series. The track is the follow-up single to Shelton and Stefani’s Platinum-certified No. 1 “Nobody But You” from Fully Loaded: God’s Country. Shelton will visit virtually with Seth Meyers on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers this Thursday, December 10 at 12:35/11:35 CT.
