Producer/Engineer Drew Long Signs With Rock Ridge Music
Producer and engineer Drew Long, known for his work with Judah & The Lion and Chris Stapleton, has signed with Nashville-based management company Rock Ridge Music.
He is currently producing and mixing new music for Judah & The Lion, Judah Akers’ solo album and music from artists including Joybomb, Sam Johnston, and more.
Long, a Belmont University graduate, produced fellow Belmont alums Judah & The Lion’s debut EP Sweet Tennessee. Dave Cobb later enlisted him as an engineer for several sessions, including Judah & The Lion’s first full-length LP, Kids These Days. Long became part of the team that worked on Chris Stapleton’s 2015 Traveller album, and later relocated to New York City to intern at Electric Lady Studios. He also produced a new version of Judah & The Lion’s “Take It All Back,” from the band’s sophomore album Folk Hop N’ Roll. That version became a No. 1 hit on Billboard‘s Alternative Songs chart in 2017, while another track, “Suit and Jacket,” reached No. 4 on the same chart. Long has also worked with artists including Houndmouth, Kris Allen, Betcha, and more.
Rock Ridge Music also manages songwriter Tony Lucca, producer Aaron Bonus, as well as artists including Hugh Masterson and Victoria Bailey.
