Luke Bryan Reveals Track List, Album Cover For New Project
Luke Bryan has released the title track for his upcoming seventh studio album Born Here Live Here Die Here, which releases April 24 via Capitol Records Nashville.
Like many in Bryan’s catalog, “Born Here Live Here Die Here” pays homage to the Leesburg, Georgia native’s small town roots. The track was written by Jameson Rodgers, Josh Thompson and Jake Mitchell.
“The second I heard the song “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here” it related to me, how I grew up, how I have so many roots and so many ties to my hometown,” Bryan said. “Being tied to your hometown is very important in country music. I fell in love with the song right away and now we have an album and a tour derived from this song. It’s pretty amazing. I’m proud of this new music and I’m really excited to get it out!”
The album, produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens, follows Bryan’s 2017 project What Makes You Country, and contains Bryan’s recent chart-topper “Knockin’ Boots,” which marks his 23rd No. 1 overall. He will hit the road this summer, welcoming openers Morgan Wallen, Runaway June and Caylee Hammack. On Feb. 16, he returns to the American Idol judges table alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie as a new season of American Idol premieres.
