Taylor Swift announced multiple international tour dates today (Sept. 17), as well as Lover Fest—named after her 2019 album. The announced dates visit Germany, France, Portugal, Brazil, Lover Fest West at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, and Lover Fest East at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Swift will become the first female artist to ever open an NFL Stadium on July 25 and 26, 2020 at SoFi Stadium.
In an Instagram post the singer said, “For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER. I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feels authentic to the music. I want to go to some places I haven’t been, and play festivals for the first time in ages…and where we didn’t have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East and West.
