RJ Meacham Elevated To VP, Promotion At Curb

RJ Meacham
RJ Meacham has been named VP, Promotion for Curb Records, following the recent elevation of Ryan Dokke to Sr. VP/GM Promotion and Marketing for Curb/Word Entertainment.
“I can’t think of a promotion executive more ready to assume this role at Curb Records. RJ has proven himself a leader and is more than capable of leading our promotion team’s efforts at radio, while continuing to personally serve our partners in radio. This is beyond a an obvious and deserving elevation.” Dokke says.
Meacham will oversee the regional promotion staff, formulating plans for the label’s country roster, manage chart strategies and continue working with Curb’s longtime National Director of Promotion, Mike Rogers.
With over three decades of experience, Meacham has held key positions at several major labels (Monument, Asylum, BNA, Columbia, Sony) and has been influential in the set-up and execution of countless hit records, working with Kenny Chesney, Dixie Chicks, LeAnn Rimes, Hank Williams, Jr., Tyler Farr, Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan, and Maren Morris, among others.
Meacham joined Curb Records in 2016 and most recently held the position of National Director of Promotion and Chart Strategy for the label, where he has been part of the team behind the chart success of the label’s current roster, including record-breaking artist Lee Brice and the recent breakthrough success of Dylan Scott’s No. 1, RIAA-certified Gold single “My Girl.”
