BMLG Promotes Laurel Kittleson To Director, A&R
Big Machine Label Group has promoted Laurel Kittleson to Director, A&R. Since joining the label group in 2012, Kittleson has played an integral part in production on 132 BMLG albums for artists including Taylor Swift, Steven Tyler, Ronnie Dunn, Florida Georgia Line, Justin Moore, Reba, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and many more.
“Laurel is an A&R force of nature,” commented BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “If our records aren’t great, nothing else matters and Laurel is a key ingredient to so many of our great recordings which makes her a key ingredient to The Machine.”
In addition to superstar talent, Kittleson will continue to work diligently on rising acts across BMLG’s five imprints. She played a key role in the development of ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Brett Young, signing and overseeing A&R for his debut BMLG Records album. Young recently celebrated his first No. 1 single with “Sleep Without You.”
“It’s an honor to be a part of the BMLG family,” shared Kittleson. “It’s such a great home for artists to grow, develop and succeed together. I’m thankful to have learned under the A&R guru, Allison Jones, and to get to work with the mastermind himself, Scott Borchetta. I can’t wait to be a part of the continued success of BMLG!”
Kittleson’s prior stops include Show Dog-Universal and Elevation Music Publishing.
She can be reached at BMLG’s Nashville headquarters via laurel.kittleson@bmlg.net or 615-324-7799.
