The Ma​y ​installment of the ASCAP “We Create Music” ​showcase​ ​series was held on Wednesday, Ma​y 21​ at The Basement. The showcase ​​featured songwriter-artist​ Joshua Scott Jones (formerly of Steel Magnolia); ​BMG Chrysalis songwriter-artist Jordyn Mallory; The Voice finalist Tony Lucca, Peachy Pyron and Big Deal Music Publishing songwriter-artist David Ray.

Sara Evans kicked off the Fox & Friends Summer Concert Series this morning (May 23) in support of her seventh studio album Slow Me Down. Evans performed her hits including “A Little Bit Stronger,” “Suds In The Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place,” and her current single “Slow Me Down” for a packed crowd of fans as well as Navy and Coast Guard members in town for Fleet Week.
