carrieunderwood sound of music111Following the tremendous viewership of NBC‘s Sound Of Music Live! last week, the network is eyeing another possible family-friendly production for next holiday season, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The network is hoping to air another Broadway classic with familiar songs that would be produced by Sound Of Music producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan. Greenblatt said live TV musicals may become an annual thing for the network at holiday time, since he believes event television is crucial to the future of broadcast.
