Sony Music Nashville Adds Director of Media

Jennifer Vessio has joined Sony Music Nashville as Director, Media. In her new role, Vessio will oversee publicity for several artists on the RCA Nashville roster, including Sara Evans, Jake Owen, Love and Theft and Bush Hawg. She will also be the key publicist for newly-signed Sony Music Nashville artist Angie Johnson and will assist Sony Music Nashville Vice President of Media & Corporate Communications Allen Brown with corporate communication matters.

Vessio was previously with NBCUniversal in New York, where she was the network publicist responsible for several programs including America’s Got Talent, Deception and Miss USA. Prior to her work with NBC Entertainment, Vessio held different positions within the company, including Communications Manager for the Cable and Digital Distribution group. She began her publicity career as coordinator for NBCUniversal’s Corporate Communications office.
