David Nail Announces Intimate Fall Tour

August 16, 2012/by Eric T. Parker

David Nail will size-down production for his fall club tour, which begins Sept. 6 at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati.

Nail will play Pittsburgh on Sept. 26 for the Country For A Cure concert to benefit the Payton Wright Foundation and Cancer & Blood Disorders Auxiliary of the Children’s Hospital, along with a few scheduled festival performances through November.

“Some of these rooms – like Joe’s in Chicago and the Royale in Boston – feel like home, because we’ve built something there and the fans feel like old friends,” Nail says. “They know the songs; they come to hear what we’re gonna do with them that night. I’ve been blessed with some pretty great songs, and you just can’t get them all in during a shorter set.”

Nail recently released an acoustic EP titled, 1979, which features his version of Adele’s “Someone Like You.” He has recently been on the road with Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Billy Currington and Gavin DeGraw.
