The Academy of Country Music and ACM Lifting Lives has announced new officers for each organizations’ separate Board of Directors for their 2010-2011 term, following elections held last week.

Newly elected Officers for the Academy of Country Music include:

President – Sarah Trahern, Great American Country

Secretary – Tiffany Moon, Academy of Country Music
Parliamentarian – Paul Moore, William Morris Endeavor

The Academy of Country Music will announce its full slate of Board Members in November, following membership voting which begins next week.

The Academy’s officer positions were voted on by the Board of Directors, and not the Membership. It is anticipated that the Vice President will serve a one-year term, after which the Vice President will become President for a one-year term; and the President will become Chairman for a one-year term. This succession plan provides extended continuity in the strategic planning, guidance, and operation of the Academy.
