Familiar Faces On ‘The Voice’

Meghan Linsey on "The Voice"

Meghan Linsey on “The Voice”

Two Nashville singers are competing on the new season of NBC’s The Voice.

The audition by Meghan Linsey, formerly of country duo Steel Magnolia, enticed coaches Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera to turn their chairs around and ask Linsey to join their respective teams. When Shelton turned his chair around after her performance was over, he was surprised to see his former tourmate. Linsey ended up on Team Pharrell. See her version of “Love Hurts” by Nazareth in the video below.

Another Nashvillian, Sarah Potenza, sang The Faces’ “Stay with Me” during her audition. She received offers from all four coaches and ultimately chose Team Blake.

On the prior season of The Voice, Shelton coached winner Craig Wayne Boyd.
